Lauren Realph

Lauren has been teaching Yoga since certifying with the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Yoga Academy in London in 2008. She is a registered Level 2 member of Yoga Australia with teaching experience spanning almost a decade.

The therapeutic quality of hatha yoga gifted Lauren personal insight into yoga’s innate capacity to heal, energize, awaken and inspire.

Yoga classes with Lauren are nourishing, authentic, warm and accessible. She teaches with an emphasis on alignment and creative sequencing. Her classes are designed to create space, strength and inner integrity, while learning to develop a compassionate and intuitive sense of individual boundaries. Lauren's classes weave philosophy, flow & devotion and place emphasis on living in truth from the heart.

 
 Post Natal Pilates MAT 
Suitable for 8 weeks post natural birth and 12 weeks post c section. You are welcome to bring your non crawling bub with you.


This class will help build strength of the pelvic floor and deep abdominals providing support for your spine and posture post birth. You will gain spinal mobility, overall strength and flexibility by gently stretching and strengthening your body. You will learn to activate the pelvic floor and deep abdominals needed for a safe practice to challenge stability and strength. Exercises are modified according to both physiological and physical changes associated after giving birth.

This class assists new mums to wake up their pelvic floor or deal with abdominal separation. Techniques are taught to maintain good posture while breastfeeding, carrying and lifting your baby and to gently tone your body and develop upper body strength and alignment to help you stay strong and pain free.
